OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: The objective of this course is to help students understand the process of change and transformation depending on electronic equipment and media. The course also aims to enable students to examine the works of folklore in electronic culture and to perceive the electronic media with a new perspective.
Contents of the Course Unit: The concept of culture, development of the electronic culture media from gramophone, radio, tape, television to Internet, execution of folklore works in electronic culture media.

Explain the change-transformation process related with electronic equpment and media.
Evaluate the electronic media, resources and the ways to benefit from those.
Analyze the process of transforming public science products reproducible in a way to address a wide audience.
Analyze the electronic culture media in terms of social and public scientific aspects.
Relate the connections between culture, cultural products and technology.
Analyze the electronic culture media through samples.
