OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: This course aims to introduce general framework for the required technology factors in order to engage both in product differentiation and reduce the costs in the processes of business and production, and how to benefit from technological innovations and give examples of companies engaged in technology-based initiatives and how important the usage of technologic opportunities is.
Contents of the Course Unit: Contents of the course include introduction to technology and innovation, basic concepts of technology and innovation, information systems, creative thinking, knowledge management, innovation management, entrepreneurship in information society, intellectual property rights, R&D management, supply chain management, new product development and design, project management and leadership and creativeness in technology management.
