OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: The objective of this course is to enable students to understand the impact of economical and political phenomena in international commercial activities and to gain the ability to use them in commercial life. Students will be able to evaluate, analyze and practice the effects of economic and political events on business and commercial life.
Contents of the Course Unit: Contents of the course include; International trade theories; The birth and change of the modern world economy; structure of international trade system, international trade organizations and institutions, economic blocks; relation between politics and economy, energy; environment; migration; globalization.

Interpret the international trade policies of the countries based on the results of economic events. (Bloom 2)
Analyze the effects of economic phenomena on the balance of power between countries. (Bloom 4)
Summarize the importance of trade organizations in the development of international trade by using the phenomenon of globalization. (Bloom 2)
Interpret the role of economic activities in international trade by using mercantilist and liberal approaches
