Objectives of the Course Unit: | This course aims to give detailed information about the planning and design of airports. |
Contents of the Course Unit: | Contents of the course include subjects such as characteristics of air transportation, classification of air transport, airport planning approach, airplane characteristics related to airport design, airport capacity, runway configuration, STOL-port design, structural design of airport coatings. |
