OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS |

Objectives of the Course Unit: | This course aims to teach the students basic concepts of design, planning, control and improvement of production and service systems, providing an integrated perspective on analytical decision-making methods within a supply chain to teach the planning for the whole chain, to teach the techniques to solve the uncertainties in real logistics systems, to gain the ability to use the optimization software as a practical. |
Contents of the Course Unit: | The aim of this course is to teach the concepts and techniques related to design, planning, control and improvement of production and service operations. Contents of the course include the subjects such as process definition, flow diagrams, capacity analysis, return on investment for capacity, cycle time analysis, inventory management, order delay, production control, business coordination, risk management, quality management, process design and reengineering, product development, project management. |
