OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: The aim of the course is to convey the theoretical and practical knowledge of visual design to the students.
Contents of the Course Unit: Application methods of visual design such as color, emphasis, focal point, perception criteria constitute the content of the course.

KEY LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT (On successful completion of this course unit, students/learners will or will be able to)

Recognizes the basic techniques of visual design.
Visual perception recognizes the gestalt techniques and interprets an image she sees from this perspective.
Distinguishes the basic applications of visual design such as balance, focal point, rhythm in painting and analyzes a picture in this context.
Explain and apply ratio, proportion / Golden Ratio and composition rules.
