OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: At the end of this course, students made a general introduction to environmental psychology. As well as learning main topics of environmental psychology they get familiar with issues to take action like; pro-environmental behavior, policies of environment and behavioral change in terms of preserve and ameliorate environment and nature.
Contents of the Course Unit: The history, field of interest and applications of environmental psychology, Research methods used in environmental psychology, Types of environmental stress and it's effects, Climate Change and psychologists' roles, Architecture in terms of the theory of environmental psychology, Pro-environmental behaviors and personal characteristics beyond that etc.,

Defines main concepts of Environmental Psychology.
Explains what climate change is, how to deal with it and psychologists roles in that.
Discusses several examples of environmental policies around the globe.
