Objectives of the Course Unit: | This course aims to examine the principles of operation and use of different navigation systems used in air transportation. |
Contents of the Course Unit: | Contents of the course include the subjects such as classification of navigation systems according to their characteristics, functions and components of radio transmitters, process of obtaining information in airplane navigation systems, operation of satellite based navigation systems and advantages over other systems. |
