OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: This course aims to provide the students with the knowledge and skills to design, develop and implement the necessary algorithm data structures in order to solve the basic functions and problems of computer science within the framework of abstract mathematics.
Contents of the Course Unit: Contents of the course include the subjects such as introduction to computer logic, theoretical principles of problem solving, basic properties of algorithms, pseudo-coding, control structures, recursive algorithms, functions, modular design, basic data types, basic input and output structures, functions, arrays, search, sorting, indexing, cryptography and matrices.
