OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: This course aims to introduce major current and future-based subjects and problems in the field of international security, improve aptitude for creating their own ideas and comments regarding these issues.
Contents of the Course Unit: Content of the course include the security concept, relation between security-foreign policy, human security concept, security theories, security organizations, changing security understanding, terrorism, energy security, commercial security, cyber security.

KEY LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT (On successful completion of this course unit, students/learners will or will be able to)

Relate and list ideas, thoughts, theories and approaches regarding international security in a proper way
Summarize theories of international security over examples
Differentiate classical and recent security, threat and risks
Analyze approaches, manners and policies of international actors against security by relating them with the national interest concept
