OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS
Objectives of the Course Unit:	Dersin amacı, modern toplumla birlikte ortaya çıkan farklı siyasal sistemlerin ve bu sistemleri ortaya çıkaran tarihsel, politik, ekonomik koşullar ışığında günümüzün siyasi sistemleri arasında derinlikli karşılaştırmalar yapmaktır.
Contents of the Course Unit:	Dersin içeriği, siyasal rejimler ve devlet-hükümet türlerine dair sınıflandırmalar, benzerlik ve farklılıkların yanı sıra bu kavramlar çerçevesinde dünyanın önde gelen siyasal sistemlerinin karşılaştırılmasını kapsamaktadır.

Siyaset biliminin temel kavramlarını siyasi sistemlerin karşılaştırmalı analizlerinde kullanır.
Karşılaştırmalı siyaset yöntemlerini kullanarak farklı ülkelerin yönetim tarzlarındaki ortak yapıları özetler ve açıklar.
Devlet ve toplum arasındaki ilişkileri farklı siyasi sistemleri dikkate alarak karşılaştırır.
Parti sistemleri ile sivil toplum kuruluşlarının durumu açısından farklı siyasi sistemleri karşılaştırır.
Farklı siyasi sistemlerde siyasi topluluk ve güçler dengesinin (yasama, yürütme, yargı) anayasal tanımlarını ve birbirlerine karşı konumlarını tartışır.
