OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: This course aims to introduce the students to the field of health communication by explaining the theoretical basis of health communication, to show how the practices are done and to provide students with a health communication campaign.
Contents of the Course Unit: Contents of the course include the subjects as in Definition of communication concept, listing of characteristics of health communication, Analysis of health communication campaign samples, Discussion of doctor-patient relations, interpreting the social responsibility campaigns of hospitals, creating a health communication campaign.
