OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: This course aims to gain the ability to explain the business and operation, role and responsibilities of human resources management with sustainability perspective.
Contents of the Course Unit: The contents of the course include human resources planning, recruitment, selection, job preparing, employee development, career planning, performance evaluation and pricing.

KEY LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT (On successful completion of this course unit, students/learners will or will be able to)

Explain the role and basic responsibilities of human resources management.
Define the steps in human resources planning process.
Define effective staff recruitment steps.
Define the employee selection process.
Describe problems in job interviews and ways to correct them.
Explain the purpose and content of the employee handbook.
Explain the purpose of the performance evaluation system and the steps in the evaluation process.
Explain the main payment, premiums and different types of payments as parts of a schedule of salaries.
