Objectives of the Course Unit: | This course aims to improve aptitude for recognizing and explaining the changes that occur in the fulfilment and management of public services in today's world where advanced information, communication and technological development take place. |
Contents of the Course Unit: | Contents of the course include concepts as in What is the digital age? E-service understanding in public administration; What is e-government, e-governance, e-democracy, e-citizen? What is the development and are stages in political, economic, technological and social terms? comparison of strengths and weaknesses of e-government application, explanation and discussion of e-governance, e-democracy, e-citizen concepts, normative values and ethics in public administration in the digital age, the future of e-government applications in the World and Turkey. |
