OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS |

Objectives of the Course Unit: | This course aims to introduce underlying reasons of effects of globalization on unemployment, poverty and income distribution and many other areas and which factors are related to the effects of changes in labour force on income distribution following the globalization. |
Contents of the Course Unit: | Contents of the course include start and development of globalization, income distribution and methods used in measurement, global income distribution index, relation between income distribution and growth, effects of income distribution on development, effects of globalization on income distribution, approaches for globalization and income distribution disparity, the relation between globalization and income distribution from the point of neoliberal approach, approaches against neoliberalism, reasons for the income distribution disparities during globalization, income distribution disparities in developed and developing countries during globalization, underlying effects of divergence and strategies to be carried out by underdeveloped countries in convergence period. |
