OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: This course aims to improve aptitude for evaluating the human rights concept within the process of historical development, interaction between political, economic and social aspects, analysing problem areas, national and international control mechanisms regarding human rights.
Contents of the Course Unit: Contents of the course include, state theory regarding human rights, classification of human rights and historical/intellectual background, generation rights and national and international control mechanisms.

KEY LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT (On successful completion of this course unit, students/learners will or will be able to)

Interpret the development of human rights within the context of Feudal Period-Modern State
Analyze problem areas regarding human rights in line with the theoretic framework
Examine historical development of Human Rights concept in Turkey over case studies
Evaluate problem areas regarding human rights within the scope of international and national Protection Regime.
