OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: It is aimed to examine and discuss in detail the accounting processes, transactions, and problems encountered in business life through case studies and to turn them into strategic decisions.
Contents of the Course Unit: The content of this course includes the structure of accounting information system, financial transactions, financial statements, accounting and decision making, management, and cost accounting, accounting process, in-term and end of term accounting events, accounting scandals, corporate governance.

Analyzes accounting transactions and events.
Uses accounting data in business decisions.
Interprets the effects of an accounting transaction on business performance.
