OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: Objective of this course is to enable students in public relations to be qualified in qualitative and quantitative research designs and to be able to analyze data effectively by using statistical programs.
Contents of the Course Unit: The contents of the course include topics such as: population, sample, Qualitative Research Design, Quantitative Research Design, questionnaire creation, SPSS usage.

Define basic concepts related with qualitative method
Define basic concepts related with quantitative method
Set a research question about public relations and design a research in accordance quantitative or qualitative research processes
Relate research methods to the appropriate methods in the field
Analyze the data by entering SPSS program
Interpret the findings of a research conducted by qualitative or quantitative research method
