OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: Objective of the course is to help the students understand the texts written in the period of Classical Anatolian Turkish, the syntax of Classical Anatolian Turkish, the place of Classical Anatolian Turkish in the historical Turkish dialects, the similarities and differences of the Western Turkish and the Eastern Turkish.
Contents of the Course Unit: Contents of the course include the texts written in the period of Classical Anatolian Turkish, the syntax of Classical Anatolian Turkish, the place of Classical Anatolian Turkish in the historical Turkish dialects, the similarities and differences of the Western Turkish and the Eastern Turkish.

Distinguish the basic differences between Western Turkish and Eastern Turkish on texts.
Evaluate the place of Classical Anatolia Turkish among the historical Turkish dialects.
