Objectives of the Course Unit: | This course aims to provide knowledge and theoretical infrastructure to analyze the world and Turkey from a comparative perspective in the light of prominent theories in democracy, which is a main subject of political science and contemporary societies. |
Contents of the Course Unit: | Contents of the course include subjects as in the concept of democracy, definitions of democracy, classical theories of democracy, modern theories of democracy, Turkey and democracy. |
