OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS
Objectives of the Course Unit:	Dersin amacı; öğrencinin toplumsal hareketlerin tarihsel bir perspektif içerisinde değerlendirmesini yapabilmesini, toplumsal sorunlar ile toplumsal hareketler arasındaki ilişkiyi ortaya koyabilmesini ve toplumsal hareketlerin tarihten örneklerle hem yerel hem de küresel düzeydeki etkilerini tartışabilmesini sağlamaktır.
Contents of the Course Unit:	Dersin içeriğini; toplumsal hareket tanımlaması, tarihten örnekler; işçi hareketleri, feminizm, iki savaş arası dönemde faşizm ve sömürge karşıtı hareketler, 1968 dönüşümü, yeni toplumsal hareketler ve yeni sorunların yorumlanması oluşturmaktadır.

Toplumsal hareketlerin hem ulusal hem de uluslararası düzeydeki sonuçlarını karşılıklı ilişki çerçevesinde yorumlar.
Yeni toplumsal hareketler ile eski toplumsal hareketleri güncel olaylardan yola çıkarak karşılaştırır.
Toplumsal hareketlere karşı geliştirdiği çok yönlü bakış açısıyla toplumsal dinamikler ile hareketler arasında ilişki kurar.
Toplumsal hareketlere neden olan etkenleri, hareketlerin çıkış noktasını ve amaçlarını sosyolojik bir perspektif ile sorgular.
Günümüz sorunlarıyla bu hareketler arasında bir neden sonuç ilişkisi kurar.
Toplumsal hareketlere ilişkin gündelik hayatında gözlemlediği örnekleri eski toplumsal hareketlerle fark ve benzerliklerinin farkında olarak değerlendirir.
