OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: The objective of the course is to provide the students with the skills to apply different techniques specific to athletics.
Contents of the Course Unit: Contents of the course include definition of terms specific to athletics, historical development process, athletics contest rules, short, medium, long distance running, throws and jumps.

Describe the basic concepts of athletics.
Summarize the historical developmental process of the athletics
Explain field measurements for athletics.
Describe and apply the competition rules related with athletics.
