OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: Within the scope of this course, it is aimed to be able to apply the hydrological principles and methods to be used in the design of civil engineering projects.
Contents of the Course Unit: This course includes the investigation of different components of the hydrological cycle and water balance (precipitation, evaporation, seepage, and runoff) and engineering applications such as precipitation-flow relationship, groundwater, and hydrograph analysis.

Examining the physical properties of the hydrological cycle with mathematical equations
To be able to apply the methods used in water resources projects
To be able to analyze the data required for engineering projects.
