OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: The aim of this course is giving general insigh into Prejudice,Stereotyping, Discrimination and Violence. Teaching theories,differnt types of discrimination, prejudice and it's relation with violence and ways of combating.
Contents of the Course Unit: Prejudice,Stereotyping,Discrimination and Violence,Psychological perspective,Social Dominance Theory,Intergroup Relations,Implicit Bias,Self-regulation.

Defines prejudice, sterotypes, discrimination and violence. Explians their relations and show how they cause each other.
Criticize theories on prejudice and discrimination.
Explains different kinds of discrimination.
Comments on how to reduce discrimination and related violence.
