OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: To give the students solution of Newtonian Kinemati, motion equations and prediction of motion by using conservation laws.
Contents of the Course Unit: Definition and Scope of Physics I, Newtonian Kinematics and Basic Physical Quantities and Vectors. Linear Motion, Angular Motion and Work, Power and Energy Concepts, Rotational Motion

The students who take the course will be able to know and learn; 1. Vectors, units, significant figures, 2. 1-D Motion Equations, 3. 2-D and projectile motion, 4. Newton’s Law, 5. Work,Power, Energy, 6. Moment of Inertia and rotational kinematics.
