Objectives of the Course Unit: | The goal of this course is to explain the importance of cloud computing and its security, teaching students the relevant terminology and concepts. Students will learn about cloud computing security issues, standards, and legal shortcomings. By analyzing the challenges, security threats, and risks of cloud computing, they will develop their perspectives and gain knowledge on implementing security measures, precautions, and conducting cloud computing security audits. This will enable them to understand and keep up with developments in the field. |
Contents of the Course Unit: | The importance of cloud computing security, terminology and concepts related to cloud computing and cloud computing security, current issues and legal conditions, the historical process of security issues, current challenges, threats, and risks, attacks on cloud computing systems, risk analysis and management, cloud computing security standards and implementations, cloud computing security measures/precautions and solutions, cloud computing security laws, strategies, and policies, legal issues and shortcomings related to cloud computing and security, cloud computing security auditing and assurance, and developments and future trends in cloud computing security. |
