OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS |
Objectives of the Course Unit: |
The Defense Industry 101 course aims to provide the basic and technical competencies
required to enter the defense sector, to raise awareness for students to participate in the
ecosystem in order to increase the capacity of the sector and therefore increase national
security to higher levels. |
Contents of the Course Unit: |
Development of the Turkish Defense Industry from past to present, Turkish Defense Industry projects and policies |

To understand the history and development of defense technologies and systems. |
To understand the developments in the history of warfare, the relationship between these developments and advancements in science, technology, and the defense industry, the work of leading defense industry companies worldwide, and the current and future developments in defense and weapon technologies. |
