OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS
Objectives of the Course Unit:	Mimari Tasarıma Giriş I dersi, öğrencileri daha önceki eğitimlerinde aldıkları niceliksel bilgi anlatılması ve sınanması yönteminin aksine, yaratıcı yöntemlere bilgi üretme becerisini kazandırmayı amaçlar. Niceliksel ve niteliksel bilginin yanında deneyimsel ve sezgisel bilgiyi tartışmayı öğretmeyi hedefler. Öğrencilere sanat ve tasarım üretim sürecinin parçaları olan bir projeyi önerme, kritik alarak geliştirme ve sunma aşamalarıyla tanıştırır. Deneme-yanılma yöntemi ile aynı konu ya da yöntem üzerine yapılan çalışmayı çeşitlendirme, geliştirme ve olası alternatifleri öngörebilme becerisi kazandırmayı hedefler. Öğrencinin projesi üzerinde sorumluluk almasını, kendi sürecini yönetmeyi öğrenmesini ve stüdyo kültürünü benimsemesini amaçlar.
Contents of the Course Unit:	Mimari Tasarıma Giriş 1 dersi; Temel Tasarım, Mimarlığa Giriş ve Bina Bilgisi derslerinin bir derlemesi olarak kurgulanmıştır. Ders birbiriyle paralel değerlere sahip fakat farklı ders çıktılarını kazandırmayı amaçlayan çeşitli kısa projeler halinde işlenir. Temel Tasarım kapsamında kompozisyon, kurgu, estetik, strüktür, hacim, soyutlama konularını tartışabilecekleri projeler; Mimarlığa Giriş kapsamında mekan kavramını anlama, mekan kurgulama, mekansal bileşenlerini tasarlayabilme, beden-mekan ilişkisini kurabilme yetilerini kazanabilecekleri projeler; Bina Bilgisi kapsamında ise mekansal organizasyon, yapı bileşenleri, işlev, kullanıcı, yer bilgilerini öğrenebilecekleri projeler üretilmektedir. Bu ders çıktılarını kazandırabilecek proje konularını kurgulamak, dersin o dönemki yürütücülerinden beklenmektedir.
