Objectives of the Course Unit: |
With this course; It is aimed to comprehend the "scenario", which can be considered as the basis of the production and management stage in cinema and TV productions, with its technical, practical and artistic dimensions, and to improve the ability of students to write scenarios by making applications. |
Contents of the Course Unit: |
The content of this course; Describing the concept of script and preparation stages for creative writing. What are the concepts that describe the terminology in script writing? What is the effect of terminological concepts on writing ?, Understanding the differences between writing a story and writing a synopsis (draft story), explaining the beginning phase of writing synopsis with practice, Understanding the differences between synopsis, treatman, shooting script with understandable examples, Subject in the story, the differences between the subject in the scenario through examples Explaining and explaining the study of finding a subject with practice, Explaining the connection of determining the theme with the subject and understanding the effect of successful theme selection on the subject narration and plot, Explaining the importance of dramatic fiction, plot and conflict while writing a script, and creating examples of these concepts together, The smallest unit of script writing Explaining the connections between the shot and its sequence, the scene, the sequance and the part, How to create the character in the script and the understanding of the effect of the character as a means of narration from the story to the decoupage (shooting scenario), Technically speaking, What are the effects of the cellar on the lecture and atmosphere in the scenario? Explaining this subject through examples, the effect of the main character and side characters on the conflict in the scenario, how are imaginary characters and imaginary conflicts created by creating an atmosphere? How is the creation of atmosphere fictionalized over character, time and space? What is the importance of time and space phenomena in the scenario? What are the effects of jumps in the perception of space and changes in the perception of time on the script language? Explanation and comprehension with practice. How to write different scenarios from the point of view of the character, the eye of the place, the window of time while writing a script? How these distinctions can be, making them understandable with practice, explaining the examples of shooting scenarios and ensuring that these concepts are understandable are the subjects. |
