OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: In this course development of fine arts since prehistoric times until present will be studied.
Contents of the Course Unit: Concepts of art and fine arts, developments of painting, sculpture and architecture from the prehistoric era to the modern era will be presented through giving the major artists and the works thereof incident to each period.

Analyze the formation and changing processes of the fine art and to see the differences between the different cultures.
Assess the social history of the art and design.
Have the knowledge on the main elements of the art.
Analyze all cultures and cultural elements around the world.
