OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS
Objectives of the Course Unit:	Yazı ve tipografi konusunda temel teorik bilgiler ve terminolojinin öğretilmesi.
Contents of the Course Unit:	Tipografinin tanımı ve grafik tasarım açısından önemi: tipografinin tarihsel gelişimi, yazının doğuşu ve ilk alfabeler, Latin alfabesinin baskının bulunuşuna kadar olan gelişimi, baskının ve baskı yazıların gelişimi, IX. yüzyıl sonu ve XX. yüzyılda tipografi; tipografiyle ilgili temel terimler: harfin anatomisiyle ilgili terimler, yazı karakteri, yazı karakteri ailesi, yazı karakteri ağırlık ve stilleri, font, yazının ölçülendirilmesi, espas, espasta uyulması gereken kurallar, espas çeşitleri: harf, kelime, satır, negatif ve göz ortası espası; espasta özel durumlar öğretilir. Vektörel program desteği ile uygulamalar yaptırılır.
