Derste Toplumsal kalkınma temel bilgisinin öğrenilmesi ve sosyal hizmet kuramı açısından kalkınmayı anlaşılması ve küreselleşmenin getirdiği modern dünya düzeninin kavramıları ile kalkınma temalarının uyuşması amaçlanmaktadır. |

Ders, Sosyal hizmette bütüncül yaklaşım açısından toplumsal kalkınma konusuna bakış, ekonomik ve sosyal kalkınmaya bütüncül yaklaşım, Ekonomik yaşamda devletin rolü, sosyal refah devletini hedefleyen ekonomik modeller, kalkınma yaklaşımları ve modelleri, Gelişme ekonomisi ve sosyal politika açısından toplumsal kalkınmanın kavramsal boyutları, Türkiye’de toplumsal kalkınma çalışmaları; yapısal gelişme sürecinde kalkınma politikaları, kalkınma planlarında toplumsal kalkınma, Türkiye’de Planlı dönemde toplumsal kalkınma uygulamalarının değerlendirilmesi, Sosyal hizmet açısından toplumsal kalkınma yaklaşımı geliştirme, kalınma modelleri, planları, programları ve projeleri oluşturma, Sosyal hizmet kuramı açısından toplumsal kalkınma programlarının ve projelerinin geliştirilmesi, Küreselleşme ve Modern Dünya Düzeni Teorisi, A. Giddens'ın Modernliğin Küreselleşmesi Teorisi, Glokalleşme, Know-How ve Kalite Pazarlama konularını içermektedir. |
