OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS
Objectives of the Course Unit:	Bu dersin amacı, sosyal hizmet öğrencilerinin insan toplulukları, sosyal güç odakları ve sosyal davranış örüntüleri hakkında bilgilendirmektir. Dersin temel odağı, yoksulluk, göç, terör, boşanmalar, sosyal güvenlik, eğitim, sağlık ve benzeri sorun alanlarının incelenmesini içerir. Genelde beşeriyeti ilgilendiren önemli sosyal sorunlar, özelde Türk toplumunun güncel sosyal sorunlarının nedenleri ve çözüm yollarının tartışılması hedeflenmektedir.
Contents of the Course Unit:	Dünyayı ve Türkiyeyi etkileyen sosyal problemler ve nedenleri. Dersin Meslek Eğitimini Sağlamaya Yönelik Katkısı Sosyal Sorunlar dersi, öğrencilerin mesleklerini uygularken ihtiyaç duyacakları sosyal sorunlar konularına yönelik bilgi ve becerilerinin gelişmesine katkı sağlayacaktır.

Sosyal sorunlara ilişkin temel kavramları kullanarak gözlem yapar.
Yoksulluk çeşitlerini ve nedenlerini bilerek yoksullukla mücadele eder.
Sosyal sorunlara yaklaşım yöntemlerini bilir ve bu doğrultuda mesleki uygulamalar yapar.
Sosyal sorunları insan hakları bağlamında ele alır.
Sosyal sorunlarla mücadele yöntemlerini uygular.
Ülkemizde ön planda olan sosyal sorunlara uygun yaklaşımlar kullanır.
