OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: This course aims to develop students' vocabulary by examining the origins of words in terms of structure and meaning.
Contents of the Course Unit: This lesson is an introduction to Latin roots, prefixes, suffixes, prefix and suffix exercises, adjective suffixes, noun suffixes, verb-making suffixes, nouns and verb-making suffixes exercises, Latin words in English, English words including Latin words and foreign-origined vocabulary exercises.

Express themselves more easily and actively in English with their rich vocabulary.
Compares the structure and origin of the words they have learned.
Reconstructs sentences according to the contextual use of words.
