OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: To raise awareness about the legal dimension of data security and applications, to inform about the legal regulations in force in this field.
Contents of the Course Unit: Importance and place of IT law; Establishment of the contract on the Internet; Information Technologies and Business Law; Electronic trade; Electronic signature; Intellectual Property Rights on the Internet; IT and personality rights; Types of crimes that occur with informatics; Internet publishing and international law; IT law and data security; The procedure to be applied in violation of rights; Denial of access.

Explain the basic, theoretical and applied knowledge in the field of information security technology and software.
Comprehends the importance of information security in social life.
Gains knowledge about the legal regulations that limit their actions in the field.
While determining the strategies, it evaluates the legal compliance as well as the technical competencies.
Gains familiarity with general legal concepts.
