OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: The aim of lesson; the definition of the web and social media environment, their emergence, structure, operation, use, privacy, security, ethics, rights and responsibilities, information production and consumption is to raise awareness and gain skills.
Contents of the Course Unit: The course content covers literacy concept, new literacy in the digital world, web literacy, development of web technologies and web periods, basic elements of web literacy, writing and effective use on the web, social media social media tools, social media literacy, search for information on the web, digital rights, digital responsibilities, information security, privacy and ethics on the web, information literacy on the web, web technologies and health subjects.
