OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: To gain the ability of computer hardware structure and application of test and troubleshooting methods.
Contents of the Course Unit: It includes the hardware structure of the computer, data paths, processors, memory units, magnetic discs, optical discs, input-output units and other hardware units, system software and testing and troubleshooting.

KEY LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT (On successful completion of this course unit, students/learners will or will be able to)

Knows the hardware structure of the computer and functions of the hardware equipment.
Performs testing and maintenance-repair operations of computer systems.
Recognizes all the hardware parts of the computer.
