OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: To inform students about the basics of data communication, data and telecommunication networks WAN (Wide Area Networks).
Contents of the Course Unit: Within the scope of this course; IP addresses and IP classes, subnet structure, scaling of networks with NAT and PAT, DHCP configuration, wide network devices and connection options, PPP / ISDN concept / configuration and authentication, Frame Relay concept and configuration and network management.

It categorizes IPs correctly.
Experiences subnets splitting steps.
It applies the division operations into appropriate subnets according to the network structure.
Knows the concept of NAT.
What NAT configuration does it apply to the network structure.
Knows the concept of DHCP.
Applies the DHCP configuration appropriate to the network structure.
