OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: With this course, in the design of the structural system of sectional properties detect the impact strength of materials, the resulting effects to the appropriate section by section analysis will be done.
Contents of the Course Unit: Strength of the basic principles, strain types and the ideal materials, the safety factor concept, the carrier element cross-sectional shape and cross-sectional area calculation, the center of gravity calculation, Strength moment, the moment of inertia calculation, inertial radius, load and stresses the relationship between tensile strength under the influence of various material-bars cross-section calculations, the pressure force under the influence of various material-bar cross-section of the account, Buckling, shear force and strength calculations, single-axis bending theory, the bending-stress relationship, simple bending effect bar at the bottom of the cross-sectional area calculation.
