OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: It is aimed to establish the relationship of maritime transportation with logistics and freight forwarder companies within the framework of multiple transportation.
Contents of the Course Unit: Starting from the basic definitions and concepts, the explanation of logistics and freight forwarding operations, the delivery and payment methods constitute the content of the course.

Logistics basic definitions and concepts are learned.
Learn the difference between logistics and supply chain management.
The connections between maritime transportation and logistics processes are learned.
The role and functions of Freight Forwarder businesses are learned.
The connections between maritime transportation and multiple transportation processes and the functions of forwarder companies are learned.
