OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: To students; To give information about the purpose and scope of the Occupational Health and Safety Law No. 6331; To provide basic information about the duties, powers and responsibilities of occupational health and safety. To provide students to learn the basic information about the rights and obligations in the workplace; To be able to follow and interpret the legal regulations on occupational health and safety
Contents of the Course Unit: Our occupational health and safety program is supported by modern educational methods in accordance with today's conditions, theoretically and practically, and it is ensured that the students graduate in such a way that they have sufficient experience in the professional field. Courses in occupational health and safety program; mainly for workers' health and safety. In addition to basic courses, First Aid, Environmental Protection, Occupational Health and Safety, Risk Factors, Occupational Hygiene, Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems, Total Quality Integrated Management, Chemicals and Hazards, Fire Protection Methods, Occupational Safety Legislation, Occupational Safety Training Methods, Occupational Accidents - Occupational Diseases, Ergonomics, Statistics, Basic Law, Labor and Social Security Law. Our students have the opportunity to use First Aid and Occupational Health and Safety laboratories and computer laboratories of the vocational school. As a project, students will be given topics related to total health management of occupational health and safety, students will conduct research and practice in various workplaces and present the compiled information to the advisors and students.
