OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: It is aimed to provide an overview of the most accurate solution of the mechanical problems encountered in the enterprises in the industrial field in terms of Occupational Health and Safety.
Contents of the Course Unit: Definitions of Machinery and Equipment, Classification of machines and material information, Fasteners and motion transmission systems, Machining and chipless production methods, International standards and national regulations regarding machines, Pressure vessels, maintenance and controls, Transport, lifting and conveying equipment, maintenance and controls , Elevators, their maintenance and controls, safety precautions in machines are explained.

Comprehends terms related to machinery and machinery
Analyzes working environments related to usage areas of machinery and equipment and risks they create.
