OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: To gain knowledge, skills and problem solving ability in the evaluation, development, protection and maintenance of family, women, fetus and newborn health.
Contents of the Course Unit: Social and cultural factors affecting women's health, anatomy and physiology of reproductive system and birth process.

Explains the anatomical and functional anomalies of the reproductive organs.
Ability to discuss the birth process
Describes the anatomy and physiology of the reproductive system.
