OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS |

Objectives of the Course Unit: | To gain the ability about nursing practice skills, in order to maintain at the highest level of physiological, psychological and social functions and improve the quality of life of individuals with chronic disease or with disabilities. |
Contents of the Course Unit: | Includes knowledge and skills executing of responsibilities of eduction, counseling, care and treatment applications about rehabilitation nursing, provision of reintegration individual's family and with society and enabling functions to be maintained at an optimal level. |

Define the basic concepts of rehabilitation nursing |
Understand the importance of rehabilitation in chronic diseases. |
Determine the rehabilitation needs of individuals with disabilities. |
Prevent the secondary problems (in spastit, pressure sores, contractures) and development of physical deformities |
Increase the functions and self-care power of individuals who have a chronic disease. |
Continue existing capabilities and roles. |
Apply the nursing process neurological, orthopedic, cardiac, pulmonary and oncology. |
