OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: As a science and profession, it is aimed to introduce social work to students and to gain knowledge and attitudes about social work.
Contents of the Course Unit: Basic information about the basic concepts, objectives, focus, functions, knowledge, skill and value basis of social work as a science and profession, skills and roles of the social worker, levels of social work intervention, stages and social work areas.

Adopts the principles of social work as a scientific profession discipline.
Explains the basic concepts of social work.
