OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS
Objectives of the Course Unit:	It is aimed to gain knowledge, skills and attitudestransfer the legislative knowledge of the legal regulations on which the social service intervention process is based and to acquire regarding the qualities, functioning and structures of the legal regulations related to the social service areas.
Contents of the Course Unit:	Basic concepts of law, basic legal knowledge and concepts related to social work areas, national legislation on social work areas (women, children, elderly, disabled, health…) are addressed and legislation-based application information, laws determining the working conditions of social service institutions and organizations and regulations.

Explains the basic law concepts.
Explains the legal regulations used in social work areas.
Uses the resources related to the legal regulation of the problem area in the social service intervention process.

Explain the social worker duties and responsibilities determined by the legislation according to the social service areas.
