OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: It is aimed to develop design, production and application skills in lower extremity orthoses and auxiliary devices.
Contents of the Course Unit: Walking analysis and foot orthoses, Foot and ankle orthosis applications, Knee and hip orthosis applications, Lower extremity orthosis applications in spinal cord injury, Lower extremity orthosis after Stroke and brain injury, Orthosis applications in neuropathic and disvascular patients, Lower extremity orthosis applications in athletes, Pediatric orthosis applications, cane, crutch and walker applications, wheelchair applications, auxiliary device applications in disabled athletes
