OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: Current concepts of orthopedics and traumatology, conservative and surgical treatment methods are aimed to provide information.
Contents of the Course Unit: Fractures and treatment methods, soft tissue injuries and treatment methods, common orthopedic problems in physiotherapy and rehabilitation, postoperative period approaches

KEY LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT (On successful completion of this course unit, students/learners will or will be able to)

Explain the basic concepts related to orthopedics and traumatology.
Explain the basic level of knowledge about orthopedic surgery and conservative treatments.
Using the general orthopedic principles and knowledge from the basic knowledge of the profession, it adopts a conscious and knowledgeable approach to patients and their pathologies.
Analyzes clinical problems and evaluates the patient based on orthopedic knowledge.
Explain the processes and applications related to post-operative rehabilitation after surgery.
