OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS |

Objectives of the Course Unit: | It is aimed to provide basic knowledge and skills about ear, nose and throat diseases and head and face anomalies. |
Contents of the Course Unit: | The course covers the skull bones; anatomy of the ear and physiology of hearing; anatomy and physiology of the pharynx, oral and nasal cavities; and the anatomy and physiology of the larynx. It also includes the functions of anatomical structures and their roles in voice and swallowing, common ENT (ear, nose, and throat) disorders, diseases that cause voice and swallowing disorders, craniofacial and orofacial anomalies, and principles of interdisciplinary collaboration. |

Explains the normal embryological development of the mouth and facial area; Explains oral-facial region anomalies, the problems accompanying these anomalies and treatment methods. |
