OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS |

Objectives of the Course Unit: | To explain the physiological changes that occur with age progression, to make the students understand the applications of the evaluation and exercise programs for healthy and handicapped elderly, to make them aware about healthy aging and quality of life. |
Contents of the Course Unit: | Physiological changes in aging, functional evaluation methods, application of clinical decision-making process, project and case studies. |

Describe the clinical features observed in geriatric healthy and ill persons and relate them to appropriate physiotherapy and rehabilitation approaches. |

Plans and implements appropriate treatment approaches. |
